New Pond Village Hosts Community Yard Sale to Benefit the One Company Fund
WALPOLE, MA – Community members attended a yard sale Saturday with all proceeds benefitting the One Company Fund, which provides monetary support to associates at New Pond Village and other Benchmark Senior Living communities in times of natural disasters, personal tragedies and unexpected challenges.
The community yard sale raised, $3,000. All unsold items were donated to New Life Furniture Bank of Massachusetts, a nonprofit organization that provides household furniture to community members in need.
“Benchmark Senior Living is a community that cares for its residents and rewards the dedicated work of our associates. I am honored to be part of an initiative that provides support when our associates need it the most,” said Susan Cwieka, campus executive director at New Pond Village.
Since 2007, the fund has provided over $1 million in support to more than 500 associates facing tragedy, natural disasters or family illness.
